BDRC Launches new website!

The BDRC has, today, officially launched its new accessible website www.disability.co.uk .

The site, which has been developed with help from BVSC, contains details about the BDRC’s new and exciting services supporting both disabled people and businesses; opportunities to get involved at the BDRC; forthcoming training events; and latest disability offers, news & developments.

BDRC Chief Executive, Louise Simmons said

“We are delighted to be launching our new website today.  We are particularly proud of the accessibility options section which enables disabled people to change the way the site is displayed to suit their individual needs.  The website has also been designed for use with reader software”.

She added,

“ We would recommend that users regularly check the site for updated disability news and offers “.

This is the first phase of the BDRC’s website development.   Phase 2, to commence shortly, will look at making  www.disability.co.uk a portal for the internet on disability related issues so site users can view links to other sites, information and materials.
