International Day of Disabled People

Details regarding the International Day of Disabled People, and invitations.

Birmingham Disability Resource Centre are proud to announce that they in partnership with People First, will be hosting and organising this years International Day of Disabled People on behalf of Birmingham City Council.

We at BDRC are really pleased to be asked to take such an active part in organising this day that celebrates the diversity that makes our City so great.  

As in previous years the event will be held at the

Centennial Centre, 100 Icknield Road, B16 0AA  on the 

1st December 2006 doors opening at 10.15 and close at 4.45pm.

The programme for the day will include Speeches, Workshops, Plays and Live Music and for those who want to get away from the maddening crowds a Chill out Zone will be available.

The Centennial Centre is of course fully accessible with ample car parking and serviced by public transport from the City Centre.

The event is expected to be well attended and places will be limited, so if you want to come you can complete your application form here and now and return it to us.
