As an organisation we provide services which will help you fill your legal responsibility to the public and your staff (legal obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act), these include;
DET (Disability Equality Training).DDA (Training on the Disability Discrimination Act and your legal obligations).
Access Audits are not just about the physical features of business premises, but also include assessing whether your service and websites are accessible and compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. Our Audits include all three areas and are reasonably priced.
We have large and small rooms available for hire, including technology equipment and PCs at highly competitive prices. On our premises there is also an extremely comprehensive catering service (Strawberry Studios) which can be arranged for you.
The creation of a Birmingham Disability Network has been initially funded by Birmingham City Council for 1 year to establish a membership organisation that will be a vehicle for Disabled people through a range of organisations including Community & Voluntary, non for profit and Third Sector organisations that support disabled people to have a voice on disability issues across Birmingham and regionally through the West Midlands Regional Network.
