Counselling Service
BDRC's Counselling Service
The BDRC provides a free general counselling service to disabled people over the age of 18 who live in Birmingham who are experiencing depression and anxiety.
Our Counsellors
The service is operated by a qualified counsellor who, in turn, is clinically supervised through external arrangements. Our counsellor is experienced in working with disabled people.
Counselling Sessions
Time limited sessions are normally provided at our fully accesiible Centre in Yardley, Birmingham. Home visits can be arranged in exceptional circumstances.
How to Access the Service
Referrals to this service can be made by telephoning or visiting the Centre. Details will then be passed on to one of our counsellors for an assessment of needs.
