Louise Mckiernan

Chief Executive and Company Secretary

Louise has a strong leadership and senior management background in the public and third sectors working at national, regional and local levels. She has been DRC’s Chief Executive since 2005 and has overseen the organisation’s continued growth and development.

Samina Bibi

Executive Assistant

Samina has been the Executive Assistant to the CEO at DRC for over 4 years. Her role involves supporting the work of DRC at the most senior level, supporting the Board of Directors’ meetings and other staff meetings, minute-taking, arranging appointments, preparing reports, and supporting the HR function.

Louise Robbins

Head of Finance and Resources

Louise has worked at DRC for the past 3 years and is responsible for all the finance functions including: payroll, pension accounts, and financial returns for funders.

Jenna Wills

Head of Fundraising & Marketing

Jenna has 13 years’ fundraising and marketing experience in the charity sector in the Midlands. Jenna’s role is to oversee DRC’s Fundraising and Marketing and put together plans and proposals to ensure we raise enough money to continue to run all our life changing projects.

Steve Moralee

Head of Partnerships and Business Development

Steve has over 14 years’ experience working in the charity sector in fundraising for both national and local charities. Steve has worked at DRC since January 2017 and with Jenna, leads on the income generation and marketing priorities for the charity.

Sarah Barber-Jones

Fundraising and Marketing Manager (currently on maternity leave)

Sarah has worked at DRC since March 2017, securing funding for DRC’s many services and helping to raise the profile of the charity and its marketing objectives. Sarah has worked for 8 years in the Fundraising and Marketing sectors, working for various charities across the Midlands.

Kay Lane

Office Supervisor

As part of her role, Kay undertakes multiple administrative duties to enable the smooth running of DRC’s office/services. Kay has over 25 years’ experience of working in customer facing and administrative roles.

Nikki Chatwin

Head of Service, Risk, quality and Compliance 

Nikki is Head of Risk, Quality & Compliance and is DRC’s nominated Data Protection Officer. As well as overseeing DRC’s quality assurance, contract compliance and continuous improvement strategies, she works closely with delivery teams to ensure projects run smoothly and ensures our services are delivered to a high standard.

Ambreen Khan

Service Manager -Employment and Training 

Ambreen is responsible for all of our employment and training programmes and services at DRC. Ambreen has 14 years experience in delivering and managing employment and training projects and public sector programmes to disabled people and those with mental ill health including 8 years senior management experience. Ambreen also has a degree in psychology and a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy and has a special interest in strategic planning, contract mobilisation and health and wellbeing.

I have a person centred approach to work, and I enjoy developing strategies to overcome project obstacles

Andrea Maynard

Service Manager

Andrea is the Service Manager for Information, Advice and Advocacy and lead on our community development work in Yardley, Birmingham, including the Neighbourhood Network Scheme. Andrea has over 15 years’ operational management experience and 3 years’ commercial experience within the social care sector.

‘I like working for DRC as I genuinely care about our clients and really want to make a positive difference in their lives.’
